Called the 'Boat-shed Tele' due to the white oak veneer effort in the back. Is is a picture of the boat-shed where my grandfather and Dad collected timber that was 'too good to throw out' and may be 'useful someday'. Most of it is rimu, matai or kauri and is indeed VERY useful.
This tele' was my first guitar build since the bass I made in 5th form woodwork & is simple, even a little rough. Built of course from boat-shed-stored rimu. It was a stud in a bach wall previously. |
