5 String Bass (Neck through)

I always wanted a neck through, 5 string bass.  Love the look of them.  This one has a centre piece made from rewarewa, mahogany and matai. The sides are maple with a mahogany veneer on the top. The fretboard is ebony.  Fret slots cut with a japanese fretting saw.  The sides are maple and it is fitted with an active EMG 'soapbar' pickup for fresh, clean lows...
